Brand Council

The Brand Council is a monthly governance forum, typically 45-60 minutes, where brand leadership reviews what shipped, what decisions were made, what risks are emerging, and what ships next. It is the operational heartbeat of TISSA's governance cadence.

The standard agenda follows four blocks: Metrics (4C scores, Spec-Match, Adoption Index), Decisions (review and ratify entries in the Decision Log), Risks and Upcoming Releases (flag anything that could affect brand standards), and Actions and Owners (assign clear next steps with names and dates).

The Brand Council is not a creative review. It is a governance session. Creative work is evaluated against approved specifications, not personal taste. This distinction is critical — it keeps sessions focused, efficient, and defensible.

Why it matters

Without a recurring governance forum, brand decisions happen in hallways, Slack threads, and email chains. There is no single moment where the full picture is visible. The Brand Council creates that moment — monthly, structured, and accountable. It is the difference between managing a brand and hoping it holds together.
