Pre-Flight Check

The Pre-Flight Check is the final verification step before any brand asset ships. It is Gate B in TISSA's Two-Gate Approval Process — the moment where approved strategy meets real execution, and someone confirms the two match.

The Pre-Flight checklist verifies that approved tokens (colors, typography, spacing) are correctly applied, that components follow the Brand Master Book specifications, that messaging matches the approved hierarchy and lexicon, that required legal and compliance elements are present, and that the asset is formatted correctly for its destination channel.

Pre-Flight is not a subjective creative review. It is a spec-match verification: does the asset conform to the approved standard? This distinction keeps the check fast, consistent, and resistant to personal taste creep.

Why it matters

Most brand errors enter the pipeline at the last mile — a designer adjusts a color, a developer swaps a font, a project manager approves a "close enough" version under deadline pressure. Pre-Flight catches these deviations before they reach the market, where fixing them costs orders of magnitude more.
