Brand Compliance

Brand compliance is the measurable adherence of all brand outputs — across teams, vendors, channels, and markets — to the approved standards defined in the Brand Master Book. It is the operational proof that governance is working. Compliance is not about rigidity; it is about reliability.

TISSA measures compliance through multiple metrics: Spec-Match Rate (do assets match approved tokens?), Adoption Index (are trained users following the system?), On-Time Release (are assets shipping within the governance cadence?), and Vendor Compliance (are external partners meeting the standard?). These metrics feed the 4C Scorecard and determine Quality Mark eligibility.

Compliance enforcement operates through the Two-Gate Approval Process, Pre-Flight Checks, quarterly Field Audits, and the Brand Council. Deviations are not punished — they are documented in the Decision Log with a kill date and reviewed at the next Brand Council. The goal is a system that makes compliance easier than non-compliance.

Why it matters

Without measurable compliance, brand governance is aspirational. Leadership believes the brand is consistent because the guidelines exist — but existence is not adoption. TISSA's compliance framework closes the gap between intent and execution, giving leadership auditable evidence that the standard is being met.
